Nauru
Blue with a gold stripe and a star.
History and symbolism
A thin gold stripe crosses the blue of the Pacific, for the equator, with a white twelve pointed star below it at the hoist marking the island just south of the line. The twelve points stand for the twelve original tribes. Adopted at independence on 31 January 1968.
