Blue, white and green bands with the mokorotlo hat.
History and symbolism
A horizontal tricolor of blue, white and green displays the black mokorotlo, the conical straw hat of the Basotho, on the white band. Adopted on 4 October 2006 to mark forty years of independence, it replaced a design with a shield, spear and club.
